Bio

Veteran Jason Woolford Served in the United States Marine Corps and honorably discharged after his enlistment. He is married to his wife, Maria of 29 years who also served in the United States Marine Corps and currently serves in the Army. The Woolfords have three wonderful children- Jenna, Jason II and Juliana who currently serves in the Marine Corps reserves. They enjoy their sons-in law and grand Children Chloe, Weston and Genesis.

After Woolford's enlistment in the Marine Corps and his Honorable Discharge, he worked his way to become the vice president of sales and marketing for two different companies in Southern California. Importing, exporting, and distributing marble and granite for large projects around the world. Woolford who was living in California decided he wanted to move back to Michigan where he was born and raised. He returned and enrolled in Bible college. Shortly after, his daughter Jenna was diagnosed with Lupus. Two months later a cancerous an inoperable tumor twice the size of a golf ball was found in the middle of his seven-year-old son's brain. In addition, the Woolfords were told to abort their pregnancy at seven months because she would be born disfigured and have other problems. As a mother and father, they understood the power of the spoken word of God, and never allowed the last thing to be spoken over their children something contrary to what the word of God says. Miraculously, their daughter Jenna was healed of Lupus, the tumor vanished out of the middle of their son's brain, and their youngest daughter was born healthy having since earned the title United States Marine. Today they are all perfectly fine.

This is a family that knows what it is to go through difficult times. These trials did not stop Jason from continuing to train in pastor al studies. He currently holds a master's degree in divinity.

In 2010 Reverend Jason M. Woolford was appointed President of Mission Cry / Christian Resources International, founded in 1956. Mission Cry has sent over $400 Million in free Bibles and Christian teaching tools to over 178 Nations around the world. He is happy to have been back in Michigan for over 21 years.

Traveling the globe, holding leadership seminars, and appearing on television programs, has shaped him as an author and mentor.

Woolford's involvement in the Marine Corps, corporate America, for profit and nonprofit business has given him the ability and experience to represent Michiganders. He understands the meaning of the Marine Corps motto Semper Fidelis "always faithful". He will use this same successful strategy in the state legislature.
