Over the past 8 years, I have worked within the North Carolina General Assembly, wearing various hats as a staff member within the N.C. House of Representatives. In my time as staff at the N.C. General Assembly, I have learned how to use common sense approaches in collaboration with others to come up with solutions to help our communities and preserve our freedoms. I have a proven track record of working on many issues to include cutting taxes, promoting policies to reduce the role of big government, and securing funds that were directly invested in Stanly and Montgomery counties. I have assisted and advised on policy within committees such as Finance, Unemployment Insurance, Banking and Revenue Laws, Health, and Appropriations. My experience in what is required of the role of "Representative" helps equip me to be the best candidate for District 67 and will allow me to hit the ground running once I get to Raleigh as a House member, to continue to serve our district and make an immediate impact.
