Following this, I attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where I pursued a dual major in Economics and Political Science. This academic foundation, coupled with my involvement in various leadership positions, including serving as the president of College Democrats, significantly shaped my perspective on civic engagement and governance. These experiences have become the bedrock of my approach to economic development, blending theoretical knowledge with practical insights to foster sustainable growth and inclusive community involvement. My professional journey started in the banking sector, providing me with invaluable insights into economic systems and the financial landscape of our community. A detour into entrepreneurship deepened my understanding of the challenges faced by small businesses, fostering a commitment to supporting local enterprises. Beyond my professional endeavors, my commitment to community service led to a significant role as the Mayor-appointed Chair of the Charlotte Equitable Development Commission.
