​I served four years in the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer 3rd Class. During Desert Storm, I worked on stateside support operations repairing test equipment as an aviation electronics technician. I am currently the owner of Barry Insurance Group, a successful insurance brokerage in Pearland. Running my own business and working with other business owners through multiple recessions and economic crises have taught me the importance of patience, perseverance, and faith in God. I attribute God with my success and always seek to run his business in a Christ-like manner. I have served on Pearland City Council since 2022 and served six years on the Pearland ISD Board of Trustees. In my time on the council, I am proud to have become known as a fiscal watchdog and an advocate for taxpayers.
