PAGE Statement
on the Election
PAGE congratulates the successful candidates and the new leadership team for education in Georgia, Governor-elect Perdue and State School Superintendent-elect Cox. We realize that on the day after election day, we have as many children to educate as we did the day before. And we have as many members to serve.
The economic challenges that the state is currently facing will make the education challenges ahead that much more difficult. PAGE and our more than 54,000 members look forward to working with the new leaders in January to move forward with their school improvement initiatives.
We look forward to the new year and working with this new team in the positive, professional way that is the tradition of PAGE.
