The California Adolescent Nutrition and Fitness Program (CANFIT) CANFit has been organizing low income, ethnic communities in California for over ten years to enhance the nutrition and physical fitness of youth between 10-14 years of age. CANFit’s mission is to provide successful culturally appropriate education on nutrition and physical fitness, advocacy, training and technical assistance, providing academic based scholarships, and funding progressive community projects.
