Heartland Academy is a member of the Georgia Psychoeducational
Network. The network is a statewide, comprehensive, educational treatment program that provides services (including diagnosis,
instruction, parent support, social work, and psychiatric consultation) for students with severe emotional disturbance,
children with autism and their families. The network which serves approximately 8,000 children, is a model program. The
Psychoeducational Network has been acknowledged in presentations at state, national, and international conferences.
